Kinesiologists are human movement specialists. They use their knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to better understand the needs of the human body on a daily basis. To be a certified kinesiologist, they must complete a 3-year university bachelor’s degree and be an accredited member of the Fédération des Kinésiologues du Québec.
A kinesiologist’s focus is on developing the areas that have a lower level of functional capacity, working towards injury prevention and rehabilitation. The main objective being to live a more able and pain free life, optimizing the body’s potential.
An evaluation is completed to have a base level for every client individually. Using the results from the evaluation, the kinesiologist will prescribe the exercise program that is the best suited for your goals and objectives (weight loss, pain management, injury prevention, improve daily activities...). After such, a weekly or bi-weekly follow up can be scheduled to help integrate this into your routine and ensure long term success.
Whether it be weight loss, injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, pain management or simply general health as we age, this physical conditioning program is for you. Our kinesiologist specialises in individualised programs for all kinds of health issues, including Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, Cancer, pre and post surgery, diabetes, and a lot more. After the initial evaluation, the kinesiologist will create a program for you to do at home, in a gym or at our clinic with our equipment. Follow-ups are then be scheduled depending on need, at the end of the evaluation.

This program includes a base evaluation done by our kinesiologist to determine your starting point, a personalised exercise program to start reactivating your muscles slowly and diminish risk of injuries, follow-ups to assure a good comprehension of the exercises and continual success.
